intro         = 'The Gates, a temporary work of art by New York Artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude were exhibited in Central Park February 12-27, 2005. The 7,500 gates follow the edges of the walkways perpendicular to the selected 23 miles (37km) of footpaths in Central Park. Free hanging saffron colored fabric panels suspended from the horizontal top part of the gates comes down to approximately 7 feet (2.13m) above the ground. The Gates are spaced at 12 foot (3.65m) intervals allowing the synthetic woven fabric panels to wave horizontally towards the next gate and be seen from far away through the leafless branches of the trees. <br> <br>I have made a screensaver of The Gates that can be downloaded <a href="http://viewingzone.com/swish/gates_screensaver.zip"> here</a> for your personnel use. <br>';
